Where to submit short fiction

In general, I've found that a lot of literary magazines are open to LGBT-themed fiction. But there seems to be such a lack of magazines that exclusively publish queer content. (I was very sad that Harrington Lesbian Literary Quarterly ceased publication!) I thought maybe we could generate a list of publications here.

Here's a few I know about:

Blithe House Quarterly http://www.blithe.com/ They only take submissions in the fall.

Bloom Magazine http://www.bloommagazine.org/

Check out NewTown Writers' two LGBT publications: Swell e-zine and their print publication Off the Rocks. www.newtownwriters.org

[Lara Zielinsky]

"Read These Lips" at http://www.readtheselips.com/ - publishes annually, but does not pay for submissions. You can take submissions after publication to other publishers. Several authors from the first issue have been paid for their story to appear in other publications.
"Khimairal Ink" at http://khimairalinkmag.wordpress.com/ - publishes quarterly and pays $5 a story for four months rights.
Depending on how you define "short" you can submit a 10,000-20,000 word story to L-Books, http://l-book.com/nano_stories.html. They call them "Nano Stories" and produce them in audio format.

Oh, I also suggest following the Forumer board Lesbian Fiction, http://lesbianfiction.17.forumer.com/. They have a whole thread dedicated to calls for submissions.

Another queer print literary journal is "Gertrude." And an online lesbian journal is Khimairal. They're good reads, and I'm not saying that just because they published some of my writing.
