E-Mail Woes

If you've sent me an e-mail in the past 3-4 days I've not received it. Apparently somebody decided to send out a huge batch of Viagra spam using queerwriters.com as the sending address. In the past few days I've gotten over 50 thousand e-mails bounce back to my e-mail address which has been a huge nightmare trying to deal with. I've also gotten a whole lot of nasty e-mails back from people replying to the spam as well. This is not the first time something like this has happened. The company th… Continue

Just Don't Do It

Earlier today one of the members decided to spam post comments on a number of the calls for submission posts. In 9 minutes, there were 5 posts, all about this person's book. It wasn't related to any of the blog posts in any fashion. While, I really want people to participate here, I'm not going to tolerate people doing stuff like this. I don't have the time to deal with it. I've banned this person from posting again and when I do that, it deletes everything they've posted. It's the fastest and… Continue

Some Guidelines and FAQ's

We've got about 80 people signed up here as of today and I've gotten a number of e-mails since I moved the site to Ning so I thought I'd post a little FAQ so I don't get the same e-mails over and over. I have absolutely no time any more to manage the site and field tons of e-mails. I was going to take the whole thing down, but decided to migrate the site to this social network site in hopes it would be less work for me. I started summer term at school yesterday and am planning on being a part-… Continue
